So here’s the plan…
….Jonathan and I will spend Saturday and Monday getting the house ready to be put on the market. This theoretically should be enough time. We’ll also be gathering things to take to the RV with us and should move into it next week. That gives us six weeks before Thanksgiving, when the housing market takes a big nose dive until after Christmas. So our prayer requests are that we get the house on the market soon, we have a productive weekend, and the house sells very fast!
Now to tell you about a few little blessings I’m thankful for. First, when I was cleaning out a closet I found a set of queen-sized flannel sheets. OH YEAH. Secondly, we found a featherbed mattress cover that we bought a long time ago for our bed that didn’t end up working for us back then so it was also stuck back in a closet. We put that on our “new” sofa and now it’s super comfy. The sofa folds out into a bed so we’re going to have the best Sunday afternoon naps ever! Oh, and did I tell you how much I hate house cleaning? UH! So…… I vacuumed the RV the other day and it took me all of about three minutes. Fantastic! Housework is going to be a snap now!
On a more serious note, I’m amazed at the difference in my heart regarding this transition. Only God could have transformed me and for that I’m most grateful!
This post may be rambling…I’m very, very tired…. So I’m off to (hopefully) finish a novel I’m reading and get to bed.
All I know for sure is that God is sooo faithful and wonderful and loving and all-sufficient…..of everything I have in my life, I’m most grateful for Him. G’night.
