Perfect Laid Plans

We’re out of water.  We’ve been out of water for days.  This shouldn’t be a problem now that we know of a water truck that can make it to our house.

Jonathan called the water truck just before we ran out.  They said they were out of town and would return the next day or the day after.  We are well past that date now.  Now we get an error message when we call their number.

So we have purchased drinking water for drinking and cooking and hesitantly for washing dishes.  We use our dirty water to flush toilets and let’s just say we’re not as clean as we’d like to be.  When we get water again (assuming we do of course and we fully expect to) we will have so much laundry that I’m afraid we’ll run out fast the next time.

But that’s not really my main concern right now.  I just want water really.  I didn’t expect to have anymore problems in this area.  Who knew me to be such an optimist!?
